About Jacqueline Gori
Merchandise ordered is commercial and has nothing to do with Jacqueline's fundraising efforts but does allow her to fund raise without drawing a salary from any of her projects. Life has taught Jacqueline lots and lots of things. From having lived on 3 continents to being wheelchair-bound for 5 years to working with animals and pets. She pours all this experience into her art. Mainly self-taught, she’s recently been mentored by one of Canada’s top artists, Gordon Harrison, and had the opportunity of exhibiting her work in the prestigious Gordon Harrison Gallery in Ottawa for the apprentice show. And with an easy and friendly teaching style, Jacqueline has attracted students of all skill levels and from all over the world to her cozy art school, Ontarioartschool.com. Her students love her, this is what Lia, said: “Jacqueline gave me the confidence I needed to begin paining.” And Sylvia: “Jacqueline is my mentor and each week I learn more and my paintings get better” She’s won tons of awards, has exhibited at 3 top-tier galleries in the UK and in Canada and has taught a class at Wilfred Laurier University as well as having worked with an exchange program from University of Waterloo and Saudi Arabia. But Jacqueline believes art can change peoples’ lives. That’s why she invests much of her time and her talent to blessing those that need help – from house-bound kids to those suffering with autism and PTSD. And this book is another example of her selfless devotion to people and pets. Is it any wonder that everyone loves Jacqueline!
